Washing

During an imagination exercise in class we were asked to do several things:

1) Imagine and draw our childhood room

2) Imagine and draw a room that we would like to write in

3) Imagine and draw/write about a person we don't know and create their story

4) Imagine someone we know and write/draw them

For the imagining a fictional character I was stuck. Then I caught a whiff of my hair and the conditioner I was using (fresh) and immediately started thinking about a washing machine. The coldness of the metal. The feel of when you run your hand along it, it sticks and stops. (that makes my toes curl). I imagined that this washing machine would be sad. Abused and damaged. That it would hate odd socks. Here is what I drew.
